My name is Katherine Cline. I am a project manager, editor, and former social media manager for Atlantic Publishing Group, a cooperative-hybrid book publisher located in Ocala, Florida. I oversee the publishing process from when the contract is signed with the author through editing, publication, distribution, and internal and external marketing. I also created and managed APG’s social media and blogging platforms on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and WordPress, making and sharing posts alongside graphics I designed in Adobe Photoshop and Indesign.
My B.A. in Journalism and minor in English allow me to produce digital and print works that are not only well-written, but also aesthetically appealing. Also, as a graduate of the Denver Publishing Institute, I have a certification in publishing (CPUB) and a solid understanding of publishing taught directly to me by top industry professionals.
This website is meant to serve as a portfolio of my combined work with Atlantic Publishing, My Athens, the Red and Black Newspaper, and relevant coursework during my time as a student at the University of Georgia’s Grady School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
